Oshadhi
With over 30 years of experience, Oshadhi guarantees the best possible quality pure essential oils. This is ensured by maintaining long-term relations with their producers, high standards of ecological certification and analysis, as well as constant attention to the conservation of plant-specific energy. Each essential oil bottle is filled with high vibrational music to maintain and enhance the special energy of the plant.
What does the word 'Oshadhi' mean? In Sanskrit, in general sense, Oshadhi means the name of "medicinal plant". In this language of the ancient Vedic civilization, words have several meanings depending on the context. Literally, Oshadhi can also mean "burning transformation" or "bringer of sunlight". In the Vedic civilization, medicinal plants were indeed considered "transformers of sunlight." They channeled the powerful energy of sunlight into a form that could be used by mankind.
History of Oshadhi: The Oshadhi brand of essential oils was created by Dr Malte Hozzel. Malta started using essential oils in the 1970s and became very interested in their practical application. For the past 35 years, he has traveled the world in search of the finest and purest essential oils, sourcing them directly from the growers. Now the oils are sold in more than 20 countries around the world.
Our goal: to create and distribute a collection of essential oils that stand out for their uncompromising purity. The magic of Oshadhi essential oils – their exceptional therapeutic efficacy and fragrance intensity – naturally comes from the plants themselves. What we have added to this masterpiece created by nature (and this is our great strength) is our attitude. We do our best to ensure that every product contains the purest essence and healing power of the plant. It's amazing that this healing power can be found in a small cobalt blue bottle: so simple, neat and beautiful.
Our challenge: the "hunt" for the best essential oils goes on and on, never ending, we are always demanding quality. It's a challenge we relish. During our search, we have established strong relationships with over 100 medicinal plant farmers around the world.
Working with farmers: These farmers are committed to wise and careful handling of the soil and show great respect for nature. Many do the same work as their father and grandfather, using traditional stainless steel or copper alembics (distillers), which provide optimal conditions for the full aroma of essential oils and the preservation of active substances.
Responsible Organic Farming: In our research, we have seen increasing soil degradation due to improper use of natural resources. This happens precisely because of clearing fields, overharvesting, the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides and fungicides, and monoculture farming. Unfortunately, few farmers are aware of the dramatic consequences of this widespread practice. Therefore, we are committed to promoting organic farming and working with producers who farm with care and love. As soon as we start working with new farmers, we immediately draw their attention to the long-term positive consequences of responsible organic farming.
Cooperation and mutual respect: We believe that cooperation, knowledge sharing and mutual respect are inseparable from this gift of nature - plants. We are excited to be a part of the journey of awakening the values of life, beauty, wisdom and health - and we thank everyone who walks with us to contribute to this goal.
